Tread Brake Unit ABFP and ABF

The heavy components of brake blocks to the wheel are made from a high-strength aluminum material which has allowed reducing the weight of these blocks, with the consequent reduction of not-suspending mass.

They have a device of manual loosening that allows simple, fast and secure, the loosening of parking brake and can move vehicles with cancelled parking brake, but with the service brake switch on, so that automatic parking brake rearmament is only performed when the pressure in the cylinder of parking is greater than 1.5 bar (maximum service brake pressure).

The system described above allows that brake blocks with a central anti-addition valve as well as with a valve located in each block brake.

ABF blocks are brake blocks for service brake without parking brake.

Rail Bearing Temperature Detector DTR

The DTR detector can recognize if the bearing of each axlebox is working within their thresholds normal operating temperature. Otherwise, the entire train will pass automatically to a state of higher safety through the application of the emergency brake.

The biggest advantage is that the DTR detector does not require electricity or telecommunications systems or complex information systems. The detector operates pneumatically by its integration into the system of the train air brakes.

It can be installed on wagons, coaches or used for special applications or railway operations.

Brake Cylinders CLR

CLR-10 and CLR-12 of 10 "and 12" brake cylinders respectively, have spring accumulator with parking brake.

Cylinders have a run of 100 mm, which makes them optimal for installation in vehicles with high multiplication steering.

Spring accumulator parking brake device has a system of manual loosening easy and safe, allowing the movement of the vehicle with cancelled parking brake but active service brake, though anti-addition efforts system is only able to be rearm when the pressure in the cylinder of parking is 1.5 bar above the maximum service pressure.

Wheel Cleaning Cylinders

The use of brake Discs, shaft or wheel, have eliminated some of inherent problems to the brake block breaks, but on the other hand, the cleanup operation of wheel produced during braking has disappeared and this causes that all the elements to adhere to the wheel during rolling are not removed, creating two major problems with this:

  • The decline in adherence wheel-rail
  • Tapping the wheel against the rail produced by small bodies attached to the wheel

These problems can be eliminated using break block cleaning cylinders.

Simplicity, robustness and low weight (aluminum construction) of Ametsis cleaning cylinders are optimal for this type of application.
